Stain/Color Swatches
When you are viewing a stain swatches that we photographed (Left), you are viewing the color and texture by using your computer monitor. Color on a computer monitor varies from computer to computer and should be considered as an approximate representation of the actual wood and stain. Due to the subjective nature of your decision the most accurate way to make your decision is to order stain swatches (See Ordering Stain Swatches below).

May we make a suggestion: You are investing in a generational family heirloom, slow down just a little and take
as much time as you need to make the right decision. Your satisfaction is very important to us because you are our most effective advertiser.

Our furniture is built-to-order and when you place your order you need to be certain of the stain and wood type before you finalize your order.

We have chosen just the right stain for the particular wood type based on experience in furniture manufacturing and repeated customer satisfaction. For example when you choose the ever-popular Quartersawn Oak we will stain it with our Sante Fé stain which has a slightly redder appearance than most of our competitors. This slight red cast may not mean much to you until you place the furniture piece in a room. The slight red cast brings warmth and an aesthetic pleasure that brings out the best in our Quartersawn to compliment your décor.

Ordering Stain Swatches

The best way to make an accurate decision is to order a stain swatch set to be sent to you. We will send you a swatch set
at our cost plus shipping. The stain swatches are 6 inch squares on the actual wood type. Always keep in mind the appearance of your furniture may vary slightly just due to the size difference in your furniture compared to the swatch.

Wood has natural variations in tone and grain so you should expect some variation even from the stain sample.This is not a product defect but is the natural characteristic of wood.

Special Stain Orders
Contact us by phone or E-Mail if you have a custom match and we will coordinate that with our finishers after we see what you are trying to match it to. Additional costs will be assessed at that point and of course subject to your approval.
